Meanwhile, Eva and Marion are assigned a new case: the disappearance of two vulnerable girls from an institution. There are fears they may have fallen into the hands of a violent loverboy organization.

2. Rest in peace

A lavish funeral service is seized upon by a criminal group for an apparent settling of accounts within the underworld. Eva throws herself into the case together with Marion.

Jeroen managed to resolve the case regarding the body in the container remarkably quickly, much to Eva's surprise. While he focused on the investigation, Romeo and Marion took on the care of Aya and Felix, the young couple who had previously been taken in by Eva at De Ponti and who now turned out to be on the run from an impending honor killing. Their situation brought an extra layer of urgency and tension, where protection and discretion were of vital importance to keep the young couple safe.
