Convinced to be ill, Simone witnesses a violent shooting in which he's the sole survivor. At the crime scene, he finds a bag full of money and decides to steal it to leave something for his family. Stella, returning to work after a year, finds herself investigating the crime.

2. Good cop and bad cop

Simone and Alessia must escape from two corrupt police officers, Ezio and Bruno, who are out to get back the stolen money. In their escape, the two also take their daughter, little Giada, with them. Meanwhile, in Rome, Stella discovers an important detail about the shooting.

3. Simonsays

Simone steals a camper van to escape with Alessia and Giada, but the journey is marked by fear. Meanwhile, Valerio summons Stella: together they will investigate to uncover the truth, finally giving her a chance at redemption. As the escape continues, Alessia begins to have strong doubts, worn down by the excessive dangers she is exposing little Giada to.

Simone, Alessia, and Giada are held captive by the corrupt Ezio and Bruno, completely unsure of their fate. Meanwhile, in Rome, Stella investigates a suspected suicide that turns out to be closely linked to the initial shooting. In an attempt to save her family, Alessia will be forced to take an extreme and unpredictable step.
