1. The Lightning Boy from Another World

Kiyo is a junior high student who's a genius, yet repeatedly cuts his classes because he is literally smarter than most teachers in the school. Meanwhile, in a forest in England, Kiyo's archaeologist father discovers a Mamado child named Zatch, who has no memory of who he is or of his past. Kiyo's father sends Zatch to Kiyo as a sort of mentor. However, Kiyo doesn't take kindly to Zatch's efforts. The 14-year-old pulls a prank on the boy by saying he'll rescue Zatch from the schoolyard bully. Even as Zatch is pummeled by the bully, Zatch continues to stick up for Kiyo. Kiyo finally steps out from behind a door to aid Zatch, and basically gets his butt kicked. Then out of the blue, a skateboarder rides onto the roof with another kid like Zatch on his shoulder and, somehow, blows away the bully. Literally. 2. A Freezing Spell

Kiyo's mind keeps returning to his first battle with Zatch as he continuously fails to dicipher the Red Book. He is amazed at Zatch's abilities, though that gets thrown aside when Zatch displays his wide variety of backpack outfits. As he returns to school with the little momodo, the team finds a guy with a momodo of his own, this one with the power to freeze anything, stealing a car from a hapless victim. Kiyo ignores the crime, marveling at both the ""kid"" and Blue Book while the guy gets away. The crook turns back up at the bank to hold it up while Susie is there for a withdrawal. At the same time, Zatch shoots off his mouth about Kiyo at school, almost getting them into trouble again. Kiyo ignores it and walks away. Along the way home, they catch a news report in a store window about the hold up. Kiyo instantly becomes torn between helping Susie and leaving the authorities to handle it. 3. The Second Spell

As the episode begins, Kiyo is once again paging through Zatch's spellbook, attempting to puzzle out the second spell, Rashield. But he has little luck, and soon abandons the task. When Zatch announces that he'll be accompanying Kiyo to school, the teenager is alarmed and yells at Zatch in an attempt to keep the Mamado from following him. Zatch does not take this well, and demands to know what he's supposed to do by himself. Kiyo, ever the genius, quickly whips up a small cardboard doll called the Voltron 3000 to keep Zatch occupied while he slips out to school. Though Zatch adores the toy, he follows Kiyo anyway, bringing the Volcan 300 along for the ride. Kiyo is annoyed to discover that because of the bank incident that occured the previous day, everyone is convinced he's some kind of freakish hero and therefore everyone stares at him and whispers about him behind his back. After finding Zatch showing off his powers, Kiyo abandoned Zatch. Zatch found a lost dog on a bridge. Then, a strange girl named Sherrie and her weird mamodo, Brago, came to Kiyo's house. When Zatch came home with his dog, he heard Kiyo, Brago, and Sherrie talking. When Zatch heard Sherrie said that if Kiyo keeps him, Kiyo will get hurt. When Zatch left, he saw a strange man in a cloak. When the man pulled out a book, and then the dog that Zatch found turned into a spiky monster.

5. The Dark Mamodo

After hearing Zatch scream, Kiyo ran downstairs, he paused and watched from the stairs. He runs down and pushes Zatch out of the way of an attack, which left a dent in the wall. Cheri asks Brago if it's another mamodo, already knowing the answer, he replies affirmative and asks what they should do. She tells him to let them beat each other up a bit. Downstairs, Zatch tells Kiyo that the dog is his friend; Kiyo tells Zatch that if it's so, he'd hate to see his enemies and sends a lightning attack at the charging monster after they cast another spell. When the man uses another spell, that sends sharp rocks out of the dogs back, Kiyo jumps in front of Zatch and takes the hit himself. Cheri decided to put an end to â€˜these childish games' and intervened. Brago jumps down the stairs, landing directly in front the intruders with his palm out, ready. Cheri shouts the â€˜Reis' spell, and the same ball that hit Kiyo knocked the dog out, turning it back to a puppy. Cheri tells the man to leave the

6. The Mystery Of The Missing Red Book

After the battle with Cheri and her dark Mamodo, Kiyo is sent to the hospital with a kid named Shuuta, who was to be released 6 monthes ago. Zatch tries to cheer Shuuta up, but is shunned and given his lunch. When Kiyo tries to cheer him up, Shuuta snaps and steals his red book while Kiyo gets some juice! Then he threatens to burn it! Will Kiyo find the book in time, or is it bye-bye Zatch Bell?

7. Botanical Badness

Zatch tries to make friends with the same kids from last time in the park, but was shunned and made fun of, being called a freak. One of them says she's going to the zoo with HER friends, Zatch doesn't have any...except Kiyo and Suzie! Kiyo ""offers"" to take them to the botanical gardens, only to find an old friend, Ivy, and a new enemy with a Mamodo, who've been training for the Mamodo fight. While Suzie is away, the Mamodo and his master use their powers on the trees and the people, including Ivy! Kiyo comes up with a plan to save the people and stop them, but will it be enough?

8. A Kind Mamodo, Kolulu

A female Mamodo appears in the city and instantly becomes friends with a girl named Lori, sort of like how Kiyo and Zatch met, except without the smashing windows. The Mamodos name's Kolulu and is very sweet and thinks of Lori as a big sister. Soon after Kolulu meets Zatch and instantly remembers him. Which is going to do; fighting her in her otherself or sending her back to the Mamodo World like the others from the past when she proves to be one of the few good Mamodos who refuses to fight?

9. The Third Spell

Zatch and Kiyo learn a new spell and go out to a secluded area to try it out. However the spell does not succeed! Meanwhile a Jester-Like Momodo challenges Zatch and Kiyo to a battle, and thoroughly thrashes them. When Zakair and Rashield fail, only their last spell can save them! But can Kiyo and Zatch get it to work?

During summer vacation, Zatch and Kiyo arrive in London to see Kiyo's father, a college professor. Another purpose for this trip is to find out more about Zatch, who still can't remember how he arrived in the human world.

The Shemira statue was carved a great 18th Century master and is coming to Japan. Zatch hears from Kiyo that he can experience 100 times the excitement of yellowtail. Zatch decides to go to the museum to see the statue.

Shion begs Zatch to give her the fragment of the mysterious Mirror, but Zatch tells her it's his treasure and is not willing to give it up.

33. The Joining of the Three

Being given the final piece of the Mirror from Zatch, Shion takes them to Grisor, who has the remaining piece. Kiyo and Zatch, want to learn more about the Mirror, so they tag along. Grisor greets them humbly in his small, ramshackle apartment.

When they think that they finally trapped the two mamodo, a huge armored mamodo named Ganz appears behind Kanchome and Folgore. Now, Kiyo, Zatch, Megumi, Tia, Kanchome and Folgore fight agaisn't Alm and two new mamodo, a blue dragon named Geluos and Ganz. The room ends up flooding. Unfortunatly, the lightning spells don't work underwater. Now Kiyo, Zatch and the rest of the gang must come up with a plan to defeat the mamodo's before they call in for help. Meanwhile, Sherry and Brago fight another Millennium Mamodo and also encounter Dr. Riddles and Kiddo.

62. Impact of the V! Very melon

Zatch and Tia's battle as Alm and and Geluos rages on as Zatch isn't fighting back. Folgore and Kanchome are still fighting against Ganz and trying to burn his book. After all that is done, Alm warns them that the next opponents will be tougher. Meanwhile, Naomi and Suzie are bored without Zatch and Kiyo around.

Out of breath and energy, Kiyo and friends come up with a strategy to defeat Victoream.

65. Ponygon's Lightning Speed!

The team is attacked by two momodo's right after their fight with victoream. The group is in no condition to fight but luckly is saved when Laila,one of the attacking mamodo's turns out to be a traitor and saves the group. It appeares two mamodo's controled by z can't attack each other. While Dalmos powered up and attacks Laila advises them to run. After giving his book to Tia so she can protect it, Zatch and Kiyo team up with Laila to fight Dalmos. Dalmos gains a huge advantage though, since he can attack zatch but Laila can't attack Dalmos. After a frightening display of power Laila appears to have given up, when Ponygon appears with his book owner to take over the fight.

While Kiyo learns more about the Moon Stone, Tia and friends have Mamodo trouble at the Hotel. Meanwhile, 4 friendly faces show up to help Tia.

Dr. Riddles' new strategy seems to baffle Belgim, and the team uses this to their advantage. But a surprising miscalculation ends up injuring Dr. Riddles.

Kido has returned to the mamodo world. Dr. Riddles quickly picks himself up and leads the way further into the ruin. Kiyo's team finally encounters the powerful hidden mamodo who has been controlling the deadly stars.

The reunited team agree to leave Zofis to Sherry and Brago. Laila and Albert return. Kiyo and Zatch are happy to see her, but she sends a spell toward them. Kiyo knows that Laila is betraying them out of fear, so he attempts to regain her trust!

Laila tries to remember the secret passage to the room with the Moonstone. After remembering Zofis' song, she remembers that the door is behind the rightmost statue. Megumi's team meanwhile end up in a room with three statue heads.

The team is discouraged after realizing Faudo is a giant Mamodo. Elsewhere, Dufort and Zeno while on their way to Faudo, reveal that Faudo can be controlled and that is why people are after its power. Riou, informed that eight Mamodos are heading to Faudo's location orders two Mamodos named Keith and Buzarai to deal with the intruders.

Zatch and Kanchome battle Keith and Buzarai but Zatch is overpowered by the pair. Zatch manages to land a "Zagurzem" on Keith but Folgore is injured in the process. Kanchome takes Folgore and flees while Kiyo and Zatch continue the battle. After hiding Folgore behind a bush Kanchome returns to the battlefield determined not to lose another comrade due to his powerlessness.

The Kanchome that disappeared was revealed to be Kanchome's clone created by the spell "Dima Buruk". Kiyo realizes the clones have a physical body and are much stronger than Kanchome. Elsewhere, Megumi's group is attacked by a Mamodo and her partner.

With both sides running out of energy to cast spells, they realize the victor will be the one who uses their final spells effectively. Buzarai uses his strongest spell and Kiyo realizes "Bao Zakeruga" can not defeat it unless powered by at least one "Zagurzem". Elsewhere, Megumi's group battles the Mamodo Cherish and her partner Nicole.

The team regroups and have their wounds healed by Tia. Megumi and Tia tell Kiyo they saw Wonrei and Kiyo realizes Wonrei has failed to find a way to lift Li-en's curse and has resorted to obeying Riou. Then a man named Aleshie and his Mamodo Riya reveal themselves.

They enter the structure until they come upon Faudo. They enter through his mouth and proceed to the stomach where the guardian Unko Tintin awaits. He reveals that all must answer his questions before they can move on, but if anyone answers incorrectly, they shall all fall into the stomachs acid and be used as nutrients for Faudo.

The team is chased through Faudo’s intestines by a giant drill while also dodging tentacles that melt anything they touch. Kiyo realizes there are holes on the walls of the small intestine that will lead them to the liver but they only open when near the drill.

The team consisting of Kiyo, Zatch, Sunbeam, Ponygon, Elle, and Momon, continues through the blood vessel maze and end up in a room where many different paths present themselves. They follow Momon's directions and end up at Faudo's heart. Faudo's guardian of the heart reveals a room in the spinal cord that will give them a detailed map of Faudo's body.

Riou takes control of Faudo and announces that those who serve under him will be spared from Faudo's wrath. Kiyo reveals that they must survive for five minutes.

The team enter Faudo through his mouth with the help of Ponygon and Karudio. They follow a blood vessel to the spinal cord where they take an elevator and arrive in a room where multiple paths present themselves. The team then splits into two, Kiyo's team consists of Kiyo, Zatch, Li-en, Wonrei, Megumi, Tia, Alishie, and Riya while Arth's team consists of Arth, Ellie, Sauza, Kardio, Sunbeam, Ponygon, Folgore, Kanchome, Elle, and Momon. Elsewhere, Zeno and Dufort in an unknown location of Faudo's, watches the teams infiltration of Faudo.

Wonrei completely overwhelms Rodeux in battle and Rodeux realizes he must use Faudo's power to win against Wonrei. Elsewhere, Arth's team meets two Mamodo minions of Riou, Jedon and Fango. Sunbeam and Sauza volunteer to battle them which leads to argument between the two.

Ponygon and Kardio begin their battle against Jedon and Fango. Ponygon's and Kardio's attacks of fire and ice cancel each other out and they are quickly overwhelmed. Fango tells Riou to turn on Faudo's support system which encases the four Mamodo and their respective partners in a glass tube forcing them to battle. Elsewhere, Apollo and Dr. Riddles attempt to find a way to launch an unknown person into Faudo's mouth as he swims.

Kiyo's team runs into Cherish and her partner Nicole. Ted tells the group to let him handle Cherish. Cherish reveals that Ted betrayed the kindness that her family gave to him. Ted reminisces about the kindness Cherish and her parents gave to him even though he was always getting in trouble. Cherish tells Ted she will defeat him in revenge for her parent's death.

Arth and Ellie reach the room before the control room where they are confronted by Riou. Riou uses a nearby control panel and seals the entrance to the room off so the rest of the team are not able to assist him. Elsewhere, Keith and Bari battle.

The team is able to overpower Riou. Riou tells his book owner Bankis to come out and fight. Bankis is revealed to have been hiding inside Riou and once out, tells them that the timing to cast spells will be easier now. As Riou overpowers the team, Dufort and Zeno arrive shortly after revealing they have burned Zarchim's book and prepare to battle Riou.

As the team thinks of a way to break through the door to the control room, Kiyo and Zatch are teleported inside. Zeno reveals he is Zatch's twin brother. Kiyo asks Dufort, now in control of Faudo, to stop Faudo or the world will be destroyed. Dufort replies he wants to see it destroyed as the current world holds no values.

Tia’s new spell "Chajir Seshirdon" blocks Zeno's attack, saving the group, but Megumi and Tia lose consciousness shortly after. Dufort asks Kiyo why he wants to protect a world which had shunned him for his ability. Kiyo asks Dufort why he does not know if he read his mind. Dufort replies he does not understand Kiyo's heart. They continue to battle and Zeno overwhelms them still.

150. Decisive Battle Against Faudo! The Golden Radiance. The Kind King

"Bao Zakeruga" defeats Zeno and causes his book to burn. Before he disappears, Zeno destroys the gem which controls Faudo and tells Zatch if he deserves Bao, he should be able to stop Faudo. Kiyo teleports everyone out of Faudo excluding himself and Zatch using Faudo's system. As Japan nears Faudo's sight, Kiyo plans to use the teleportation device and teleport in front of Faudo and defeat him with "Bao Zakeruga.”
