On the day of the bean-throwing ceremony, Suneo asks Nobita for help to throw Gian out of his house. Doraemon offers the "Demons Out! Luck in! Bean," which sends things from the inside to the outside.

Upset with Gian's badly cooked home meal, Doraemon takes out the "Super Gourmet Spice," which makes any food delicious.

Doraemon introduces Nobita to a game that takes him literally into a book of adventures. Shizuka is in the last page, waiting to be rescued. Nobita goes into the book with Dekisugi. They must answer riddles to get to Shizuka.

Suneo brags about his pet fish (carp). When Nobita wants his own fish, Doraemon comes up with a way for Nobita to get fish and to have fun with them at the same time.

Nobita is having a hard time relaxing with all the noise, so he asks Doraemon for a gadget that allows him to get onto a cloud. Nobita invites Shizuka over, and the two of them create a paradise, but Gian and Suneo have some plans of their own.

Nobita is jealous of Suneo's camper, so Doraemon gives him a gadget that can make his whole house fly. Nobita invites Shizuka on a trip to the Nashi Highlands, but, they have to rush back home before Nobita's mom finds out what's going on.

Doraemon gives Nobita a stick that allows him to take on the traits of those around him, to improve his baseball. Unfortunately, Nobita strikes out at the game, and this infuriates Gian.

Nobita's mom needs a gift on short notice, so Doraemon helps her out with a cloth that produces gifts for other people. Nobita cooks up a plan to use the cloth to get a videogame console but, the cloth is stolen by Suneo and Gian.

48. Gian’s Farewell Concert / Dream Director’s Chair

Everyone is ecstatic when Gian announces he’ll quit singing. Gian plans one big farewell concert to signal the end. But are Gian’s intentions pure? Or is there an ulterior motive for his announcement?
